Q1. What is the duration of the course?
Each lesson is runs for one-hour, once in a week. Most of the batches run for 12 weeks. The timings for each batch will be communicated separately.

All teachers are based in the United Kingdom.

Q4. How can I reserve a seat for my child in a course?
1) First select a course for your child (using the criteria shown on Q6.)
2) Then find out an upcoming batch for that course (Upcoming Courses)
3) If you have not registered your child's details with us then please Register here.
4) Finally you can reserve your child's seat by making a payment by a Bank Transfer. Please message us on WhatsApp for the bank details.

Q6. How can I decide which course is best for my child?
Child 7-9 years old can start with Scratch level-1 or Lego Wedo level-1 course.
Child 9-10 years old can start with Scratch level-3 course or Microbit course.
Child 11 years old and above can start with Python level-1 course or HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Q7. Do the children need any computer background to start learning programming with you?
No computer background is required. The child just needs to be in the right age-category (as shown in the last question) to learn that programming skill.
Q8. What happens after I reserve the seat ?
After your reserve the seat, we will email you the course joining details 1-2 days before the batch start date. We will send you periodic messages on WhatsApp with the details of which software to install an/or where to create a login-id.
Q9. Are the classes one-to-one or group lessons?
All the lessons are group lessons with 4-9 students per class
Q10. How are the lessons delivered?
All lessons are delivered online over Google Hangouts, which does not require any installation. Children can learn programming online from the comfort of their home.
Q11. Are the lessons interactive or self-learning?
The lesson are NOT self-learning; the lessons are highly interactive sessions with LIVE teacher. The teacher can see student's computer screens, video and speak to them. The students can see teacher's computer screens, video and speak to the teacher.
Q12. What equipment do I need to attend online session?
You can use a windows computer/laptop or a Mac. The system should have the capability to do audio and video calls. You should have administrator rights on the system so that you can install applications required to do programming.
Q13. Do you give homework?
Homework is given after each class. The homework is mentioned at the end of the slide-pack for that lesson.
Q14. Do you check student's homework?
The solutions to homework are shared online so the students can verify the answers themselves.
Q15. Do you do any assessments?
We conduct a mid-term Kahoot Quiz and an End of the Course Test. The results of the end of the course test is emailed to your email-ID registered with us.
Q16. Do you share any course content?
All course material is shared online as read-only. Due to business confidentiality we cannot allow download or printing the content.
Q17. Do you provide lesson recordings
Audio recording of missed lessons provided. We are sorry, we cannot provide video recording due to business confidentiality reasons.
Q18. Beyond the lessons do you provide any support?
Off-lesson email/WhatsApp support is provided.
Q19. Do you provide any Certificates?
Yes, a certificate of course completion is provided.
Q20. How can parents get information about my child's course progress?
Periodic updates on course progress provided over WhatsApp and email.
Q21. Is online learning safe for my child?
All courses are taught by eDBS (Discrimination and Barring Services) checked adults.
Q22. My child already know Python so which level is best for them?
For more details please visit the "Python" page. Have a look at the course contents for Python Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3 and then you can decide which level is best suited for your child. For example, if your child can do 70% of the programs shown in Level-1 then they can join Level-2.

Its because the time-zone on Google Calendar does not matches with your local time-zone. Please set the time-zone on your Google calendar by looking up this link.

Q28. Unable to connect to Hangouts; it says unsupported protocol.
This problem can happen because firewall or your browser is not allowing access to Hangouts. You can find the resolution here.
